Google DeepMind WeatherNext 2 — 99.9% 변수 개선, 1 TPU로 수백개 시나리오 1분 예측

Google DeepMind가 WeatherNext 2를 공개했다. 이전 모델 대비 99.9%의 변수와 리드타임에서 성능이 향상되었으며, 단일 TPU로 수백 개의 기상 시나리오를 1분 안에 생성한다. Earth Engine, BigQuery에서 데이터를 즉시 사용할 수 있고, Vertex AI 얼리 액세스 프로그램이 운영 중이다. 검색, Gemini, Pixel Weather, Maps Platform 등에도 적용된다.
