Railway raises $100M Series B to challenge AWS with AI-native cloud

Railway, a San Francisco-based cloud platform, raised $100 million in a Series B round led by TQ Ventures, with participation from FPV Ventures, Redpoint, and Unusual Ventures. The company has amassed two million developers without marketing spend, processing over 10 million deployments and one trillion requests monthly. Founder Jake Cooper said legacy cloud tools are too slow for AI-generated code, as build cycles take minutes while AI assistants generate code in seconds.
