Anthropic partners with CodePath to bring Claude to 20,000+ CS students

Anthropic is partnering with CodePath, the largest collegiate CS education provider in the US, to integrate Claude and Claude Code into its curriculum. Over 20,000 students at community colleges, state schools, and HBCUs will gain access to frontier AI tools, with 100+ students already piloting Claude Code on open-source projects in fall 2025. The partnership includes redesigned AI courses and a new Intro to AI course at Howard University, aiming to bridge the access gap for students from low-income backgrounds.
